@NeoGameSpark Are your expectations going to change for the Vita because of the 3ds or are they the same? i might want the Vita before the 3DS and i want to get my moneys worth. i plan on getting both of them eventually but i might want to wait on a bundle for the 3ds because they might lower the price down and most likely before the Vita.

If fighting games aren't your type, there's still lots more games coming out. Admittedly the 3ds launch line up was pathetic, but if you let me know what games you like, i could tell you any 3ds games like it. But of course if you want a vita, get it.

@tokinblckgie ....That we know of right now. Who knows? Maybe the NGP has more ports coming its way. They said that is took 1 week to port over a demo of Uncharted to the NGP from the PS3. Thats going to encourage developers to send the game they were already making for the PS3 to the NGP for little extra cost just to make a little more money. There's little thought going into the games coming to the NGP that are announced as of right now, in my opinion.

And so far has more console ports on the horizon than the ngp. If it's not a problem for the 3ds, it won't be for the ngp.
The only problem I have with this video and criticism of the ngp in general right now is. The 3ds has more more straight up console ports right now than the ngp does. Almost half of the 3ds big name games on the horizon are n64 remakes. Both are aiming for console style gaming in the palm of your hand. So if anything it'll be an issue for both systems.

@icecrandor It all depends, when the new pokemon game is announced, i'm sure almost everyone will get the 3DS (3D modeled pokemon FTW! :D) But depending on your gaming tastes, you would prefer one console over the other. If you love FPS games, I would advise the ps3 or the Vita, but if you like action adventure platforming, fighting games, or all the other "nintendo brand games" well the 3DS is a great choice :)
the main reason the PSP failed was due to the the fact it got hacked so easy and prcicey being so bad due the massive hole in 1.5 also sonys main foucs was still on ps2 so most of there main devs worked on that sony shifted there foucs to late

Alot of people say that sony chose for the ngp to come out at a bad time but thry acully chose the perfect time after people bought the 3ds it gave them enough time for people to recover their money inorder to buy it in November at 300-350 dollars twords the holiday season which most people will be getting the psp2 for Christmas anyway so the 3ds and psp2 are going to be great portables

I want to get both the 3DS, and the PSP 2. I can't understand the war between the both of them. I think people should've actually shut up and got both the DS and the PSP. I would let my sisters play my PSP, and I would play their DS, and enjoyed it. There were things on the PSP that I couldn't do on the DS, and there were things on the DS, I couldn't do on the PSP. PSP tried to be a handheld. But everybody looked forward to it being like a console. Then people hated it when when the games started changing. Now people want it to be a handheld. Make up your Friggin minds. You want it to be a console or a handheld. With PSP2 having android games which be more like handheld games. Then it be the best of both worlds. But your rant makes no sense what so ever. Nintendo is also attempting the same. With Paper Mario, Smash Bros. A new Mario that looks like Galaxy.
Just because the PSP2 has so much power does not mean that it won't have different experiences. Hello All they showed was tech demos they said this is what we are capable of not what we are doing. But remember PSP tried handheld gaming and everybody hated it. The biggest games sold mimic its console counter parts. Metal Gear Acid was totally different. How many really loved that game and how many ranted on that they wanted Metal Gear Solid. Really It is trash what others think.
In fact that was the way Sony put it when they unveiled the NGP. Play it the way you like. And which way does people like it like the way the console is. Because it is Familiarity. The touch screen of the ds is cool and ok when it is all you have to use. But when you have switch your hands it becomes annoying. And really its the Name that sells. PSP sales did just as good as the Wii. A little under but pretty good for a non Nintendo handheld.
Many people don't reconize that the PSP had a lot of developer support. But what stopped it it was the fact of limiting the developer. Many developers was hoping to build new franchises even in the FPS genre. Cause it could do it. But the developers was limited by the controls. Gameboy had the same controls as consoles and many of the games were counter parts of there original self. And don't tell me they wasn't. Because how did you play Zelda or Mario. Just like you did on the console.
What would be cool is when you have interface selections on screen and instead of using the front panel to select with and having your finger in the way you could do it with the back panel. Like hold your finger and drag it over a item on screen and it highlights the item. Then let go to select it. So smaller items on screen but easier selection without big fingers on the screen.
Well what he says in this video. Tell Nintendo the same thing you said about the PSP. Because the 3DS is all ports of console games. People don't like to be told how to play there games and that is why both can succeed in there own rights. My nephew plays on my consoles most time. What am i suppose to do. I want a personal system that gives me the same experience as on a console. So i don't have to figure out where to put a second TV and spend more money on a whole new set up.

If fighting games aren't your type, there's still lots more games coming out. Admittedly the 3ds launch line up was pathetic, but if you let me know what games you like, i could tell you any 3ds games like it. But of course if you want a vita, get it.

@tokinblckgie ....That we know of right now. Who knows? Maybe the NGP has more ports coming its way. They said that is took 1 week to port over a demo of Uncharted to the NGP from the PS3. Thats going to encourage developers to send the game they were already making for the PS3 to the NGP for little extra cost just to make a little more money. There's little thought going into the games coming to the NGP that are announced as of right now, in my opinion.

The only problem I have with this video and criticism of the ngp in general right now is. The 3ds has more more straight up console ports right now than the ngp does. Almost half of the 3ds big name games on the horizon are n64 remakes. Both are aiming for console style gaming in the palm of your hand. So if anything it'll be an issue for both systems.

@icecrandor It all depends, when the new pokemon game is announced, i'm sure almost everyone will get the 3DS (3D modeled pokemon FTW! :D) But depending on your gaming tastes, you would prefer one console over the other. If you love FPS games, I would advise the ps3 or the Vita, but if you like action adventure platforming, fighting games, or all the other "nintendo brand games" well the 3DS is a great choice :)

Alot of people say that sony chose for the ngp to come out at a bad time but thry acully chose the perfect time after people bought the 3ds it gave them enough time for people to recover their money inorder to buy it in November at 300-350 dollars twords the holiday season which most people will be getting the psp2 for Christmas anyway so the 3ds and psp2 are going to be great portables

I want to get both the 3DS, and the PSP 2. I can't understand the war between the both of them. I think people should've actually shut up and got both the DS and the PSP. I would let my sisters play my PSP, and I would play their DS, and enjoyed it. There were things on the PSP that I couldn't do on the DS, and there were things on the DS, I couldn't do on the PSP. Nice video, I totally agree that the 3DS is gonna stomp the NGP. I tried out the system, and the 3D effect is actually pretty impressive.

The PSP will be a piece of crap compared to the NGP, in the same way that a PS1 is a piece of crap compared to the PS3.
The DS will still be getting games in while the 3DS is peaking, because the DS isn't that much worse than a 3DS, the 3D effect is just another stupid feature that will become worthless once it is copied and made better by another company(like the Wii is destroyed by the Kinect).

Just because the PSP2 has so much power does not mean that it won't have different experiences. Hello All they showed was tech demos they said this is what we are capable of not what we are doing. But remember PSP tried handheld gaming and everybody hated it. The biggest games sold mimic its console counter parts. Metal Gear Acid was totally different. How many really loved that game and how many ranted on that they wanted Metal Gear Solid. Really It is trash what others think.

In fact that was the way Sony put it when they unveiled the NGP. Play it the way you like. And which way does people like it like the way the console is. Because it is Familiarity. The touch screen of the ds is cool and ok when it is all you have to use. But when you have switch your hands it becomes annoying. And really its the Name that sells. PSP sales did just as good as the Wii. A little under but pretty good for a non Nintendo handheld.

Many people don't reconize that the PSP had a lot of developer support. But what stopped it it was the fact of limiting the developer. Many developers was hoping to build new franchises even in the FPS genre. Cause it could do it. But the developers was limited by the controls. Gameboy had the same controls as consoles and many of the games were counter parts of there original self. And don't tell me they wasn't. Because how did you play Zelda or Mario. Just like you did on the console.

What would be cool is when you have interface selections on screen and instead of using the front panel to select with and having your finger in the way you could do it with the back panel. Like hold your finger and drag it over a item on screen and it highlights the item. Then let go to select it. So smaller items on screen but easier selection without big fingers on the screen.

People don't like to be told how to play there games and that is why both can succeed in there own rights. My nephew plays on my consoles most time. What am i suppose to do.
