Nothing wrong with Lada's. Basic yes, and cheap too. But they were rugged and reliable and excellent value for money so long as you weren't worried about depreciation. Car snobs make me sick. Sure I like BMWs etc.etc. but would I pay silly money for one of those new? Like fuck...

Ugly its very subjective, I like its form. Old fashioned the original form is a 42 years old construction. The components for Lada are very-very cheap in Hungary. Lada was the best car in Hungary in the 70s-80s. Of course its the past.

My opinion is that Trabant 601, Skoda 105 or ZAZ968 were worse cars, but I love them too, because they are already oldtimer cars.

You havent probably seen a Lada with your own eye, cause most of thing you sayed were wrong. Ugly - It depends of people. Unreliable - Lada is one of the most reliable car i know, my mother drove one over 15 years, without any technical problems. Cheap - Its not a bad side. Nasty to drive - Actually its handling is quite good. Expensive to buy parts for - I got parts for my lada for less than bottle of vodka. So fuck of if you dont know anything! Srry for my bad english too
