I see you have 77.000km on your bike. I have on my XX around 55.000km. Just to ask you, how do you service your bike? Did you change the timing chain or whole timing kit set? What about clutch, and other parts? What about valve clearance, etc?. Thank you so much for answer.

@jimmivonstarsi Nothing like that has been done yet to the bike, and currently it has 123.000 km. Timing chain sounds now like it needs replacement; the tightener does not keep it tight anymore (I've changed it recently). Valves have never been touched and they still sound ok.

An den ahnungslosen Asterix005, Hatte auch mal eine XX. Sie braucht bei der Geschwindigkeit ca.10Ltr. Nicht mehr und nicht weniger. Die Anzeige täuscht durch das Einknicken der Federbeine beim Gas wegnehmen. Interessanter ist allerdings das souveräne Beschleunigen der XX im oberen Geschwindigkeitsbereich. Ist hier leider nicht so schön zu sehen. Fahr einfach mal eine. Macht Spaß.

Ach ja, wofür steht eigentlich die Doppelnull bei Asterix005?

Temp indication is normal and quite OK for a Blackbird. Difference between middle of the dial and red is only about 5 degrees C. After the run, the needle will drop down.

Ich kenne die Superblackbird nur zu gut! Dieses Moped war damals (vor über 10 Jahren) echt ne Brumme! Bergab lief die bei mir auch 325 km/h!-in den Papieren 'nur' 298. Heute sind meine Knochen zu alt für den ganzen Scheiz ...z.B. mit 2XX zwischen zwei überholenden LKW's hindurch...usw !

Übrigens schnelle Mopeds sind wie starke Drogen - wer auf Dauer nicht die richtige Dosis kennt geht drauf oder wird ein Krüppel ! Kenne Beispiele ohne Ende!
