Personally the best way quickly learn spanish is to frequently speak it with people who speaks spanish as a first language. When I lived in Nicaragua for 2 yrs I didn't really know how to speak it well and since they didn't speak english I had to really put a lot of effort in speaking and understanding them. I can say that the my american accent is completely gone when i speak spanish

yeah, thanks. i did learn a little from this online training course, but, i suppose i could speak more with native speakers, to get better. but, i`d have to know the words. whenever i speak any spanish, however little, i always make sure the grammer is proper. for example, the word for dad, and, i believe, a type of fruit in spanish is spelled the same, with the word used for dad with a slight accent at the end.

over all speaking spanish with someone who don't really speaks english is a bit better cause you have to really dig in your memory and make your self understandable. you would be paying attention to their grammar and punctuation and accent also.. At least it was how I learned best. You are taken from your comfort zone and you put yourself to the test
