I've noticed a trend in your exercise videos whereby you instruct inhalation to occur during contraction as in this video. I still think one ought to exhale during the contraction of the lower back. Please clarify with an appropriate explanation.
inhaling and bracing hte abs against the breath uses the TVA to brace the lower back and further stabilize the spine. it's called the valsalva manuver and is crucial to any spine loaded movement.
extensions on a swiss bacll doesn't really matter though
Yes, I also lift weights. Lifting is about 30% of my routine. However, there have been a lot of times over the years that I have used the ball exclusively. Working on the ball is another form of resistance training where the limiting factor is often balance, coordination and core strength. Thanks for you question!
