  • Just a little help for you acne I stopped eating pork and my acne went away and if you are washing your face with regular soap as many guys do this will contribute to acne as well!

  • So i am really sorry to ask you, but did you have your kind of "acne" before taking supplements? Because i would love to have this body, seems like the perfect combination of strength and appearance and not too big and huge, just perfect (haven't seen any of this on youtube or in the gym till now). But I am very suspicious about supplements so please answer :) And btw: What do you think of whey protein optimum nutrition 100% and when should i take it? Greetings

  • Egg whites? Complex carbs?

  • hey mate whats your weight?

  • I differ on the nuts and fruits. Just moderate the portions, but can be highly beneficial even when reducing cals. For example, consuming 1-2 cups of mixed berries with whey for a post workout shake. It restores glycogen levels, provides vitamins and antioxidants. I wouldn't recommend drinking or eating them throughout the entire day for fat loss though.

  • i eat plain pasta so should the calories be down in pasta for me?

  • what if iam a skinny guy who wants to bulk up but add no fats to my body ?

  • u mean when im dietining then i cant drink apple juice 100 % or so? i checked it have 117 calories in 250 ml.

  • @AVBtrance1 You could if you want to but make sure that it isn't putting you over your daily goal calories.

  • @AVBtrance1 I know it's been 3 months since you inquried the question on orange juice, but I'd like to answer it. When dieting, avoid ALL sorts of sugars, and that includes: sucrose, fructose, corn syrup (fructose+glucose), carbohydrates (both complex + simple), etc. You do need to consume at least 10% complex carbs a day though (brain needs it). Also avoid sodium, salt, bad + neutral fats. Drink 6 cups of green tea every day, omega-3, multivamins (all help with losing fat). This is nutrition 101

  • @AVBtrance1 Also, although 100% "natural" apple juice has low glycemic index and slightly medium glycemic load, I still don't recommend drinking it because if you will be cutting on calories, then you cut use those calories from the juice on something like 4oz of lean chicken (+ metabolism & keeps you full). Just stick with lean protein, a bit of complex carbs, take your supplements (omega-3, vitamins, organic green tea), etc. Knowledge is power. Look up nutrition on google and edu yourself.

  • This sausage is huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge

  • what is ur opinion on workout projrams such as p90x, insainty, rushfit and etc.

  • Quick question for Brian...what was the highest bf you got up to when you were in the process of packing on muscle? I'm just wondering because I'm doing the same thing but not nearly at the rate you did since I'm trying to minimize fat gains.

  • @bunchballs Most I've ever gotten and will allow is 14%, usually stay under 12% though.

  • hmmm, "interesting" choices. lettuce and sugar free jello?? really? Yeah if I'm a neurotic menopausal woman... lol I say the best foods for weight loss are organic meats and non-starchy vegetables and, YES, nuts. the worst foods for weigh loss are anything grain: your pasta, rice, bread, etc... How are you supposed to gain muscle by eating leaves? :) You NEED nutrition while dieting. Leaves are for rabbits...

  • how much muscle can you gain in 6 months with a proper nutrition? and i dont mean total weight including fat water etc.. i mean lean muscle mass.. thanks..

  • Tell me you're against forced circumcision on non-consenting individuals? If so, you should blog about it! You seem the type to take care of your body, you're smart and people listen to you.

  • sry, i have lots of questions....if you consume more protein than you use, does it turn into fat?

  • another question, is protein powder good for someone who wants to gain muscle without doing weight training?

  • you said that sports drink are #5 on the bad foods list....but i heard somewhere that you should drink Gatorade if you take martial arts so you don't burn your muscles....is that true?

  • sweetass chest, dude

  • talk about running while trying to gain muscle and if the cortisol it causes will prevent muscle growth

  • @rjp9871 I agree with this, since I run nearly 5 miles or more daily (usually at a more accelerated pace than most).

But while running this much and working out I have also gained 5 pounds in 2 weeks. So I'm pretty sure that you just need to intake more calories to make up for the lost calories from running.

  • IIFYM

  • @llamapiccolo "If It Fits Your Macros". Very true but the foods I suggest allow you to eat more of them which is more psychologically pleasing since they are so light in calories. A bowl of Jell-O Is more attractive to me than a handful of almonds, eh?

  • @BriturTraining Nah, since a bowl of Jell-O offers me virtually no nutritional benefit, whereas from nuts I get increases satiation from healthy fats and a smidgen of protein.

  • @llamapiccolo Actually not true a bowl of Jell-O contains 8gs of protein.

  • Ketogenic Diets vs low fat vs normal macros (1g protein/lb...etc)

calculating body fat percentage on yourself

great video though! opened my eyes about fruit :)

  • how many times a day should you have a protein shake if you're trying to build muscle mass

  • @tsacco96 You should aim for 1-1.5g's of protein per lb you weigh as a good guideline!

  • For future topics you could talk about BCAA supplementation and Cortisol release.

  • Damn, pro tip on the aspartame!

  • Epic, the mind set of staying focused, the mental challenges this brings :]
