I appreciate Mexican boxing culture because it contributes so much to the sport, but do we have to buy in to the myth that Mexican fighters have a monopoly on heart? Lamont Peterson has as much heart as any fighter on the planet. Kirkland won a war against a Mexican warrior in Mexico... Just want fighters to get their just due

my personal favorite fight was Linares vs Demarco, but one thing I've noticed over the years and after seeing the Marquez/Concepcion highlights is that Spanish announcers are so much more passionate and bring so much more excitement to the fight, and they simply call the fight as opposed to U.S. English language announcers who sit there and either harshly and unfairly criticize fighters or kiss their ass for the entire fight and barely even call the fight.
