@wADe254 go to 0:56. You can see that the drop is no more than 4 body lengths of the guy jumping. So, even if he was 7' tall, it'd still be under a 30' drop. Most people have a warped view of how high stuff really is. It's hard to grasp it but the best way is to use markers that you can see: for example, body length. let's say that guy is 6' tall. that'd put the jump right around 24'. Like i said, sick, but nowhere near 40 feet.
