I am currently experimenting with a way to get both my guitar and my microphone signal into my laptop simultaneously which should (hopefully) result in clearer live performances. It might not work without me getting a proper input box, but we'll see

With proper aiming of the mic and some tweaking of the levels it should work fine with just the mic too. You know, in the old days, they used to record complete bands with just one mic and it sounded terrific! (Yes, I'm a bit of a sound geek, I know :P Which also explains why I love acoustic guitars miked, not plugged - way more realistic sound.)
