Yea you have to be careful about what area you are in. My aunt and my cousin live in Charlotte and I go there quite often. My cousin used to live in a not so nice area and her car got broken into and stereo stolen about a month ago.

I lived in Atlanta by my self for a while a few years back and my car got broken into , which at the time , my car was my life line and they stole like 1500 bucks in cash , most of my clothes a CD player and lots of other stuff . Really put me in a bad place .
Well , at the time I was in a very difficult spot in my life and at times I was sleeping in my car if ya wanna know the truth . lol . so almost everything I had was in there . I came back home to Savannah shortly after that needless to say . Ya it dose piss me off , but its not so bad , they came back the next night to get my speakers and I whacked one of um with a lead pipe . They ran like Im sure they did from boarder patrol getting over here . LOL

speaking of break ins, somebody broke into my car this morning... this was the second time. i always leave my doors unlocked and take my valuables out because its much easier to clean up papers than replace a broken window. north carolina crime is pretty high... especially in charlotte/raleigh/durham/greenville areas.
You may want to suggest for people to watch craigslist for stuff. My friend had her car broken into and found out who took it when she found it on craigslist. She pretended to be interested and got the cops in on it.

You should get some of those little alarms to put on your windows.i got a bunch from dollar tree. Also maybe invest in like a deadbolt lock or something. Do they do this in the daytime or at night? If at night you can put up some motion sensor lights.
