Brilliant, thought provoking, a tour de fource sir. That said, we're all here working against an entrenched Buxiban system. There's the "No Chinese" rule. There's the fact that these kids (or even adults) have spent years doing apparently counterproductive rote memorization for so long. I could go on. This is great stuff, you've made me a believer in the space of 30 minutes. That said, how would you go about applying it in a Taiwan buxiban setting?
you hit the nail on the head. in taiwan and korea, the worlds biggest ESL markets (china too but the money stinks) there are so many cultural barriers to learning a foreign language.
