I believe that Easter ISland was run my a certain type of Maori. Then after they cut down all the trees, the residents died out and left the statues. The Moai.

What I think is so interesting is that the carvings that they talk about (half man and half bird) sounds a lot like Quetzlcoatl, the god shared by most of the natives in Latin America. Amazing!

However, I do believe the statues of Easter Island were the work of ancient "PHOENICIAN MARINERS" from the Middle East.

See the noses of these statues, they resemble the noses of the men of Lebanon (i.e., long and straight).

Polynesians have different shapes of noses and are not similar to the noses of these statues.

awesome, this is just like what I saw on television. There was a newsreport which showed that a stone-age civilization was living in the middle of the rainforest in brazil, and they were shooting arrows on the plain that crossed over the forest to make pictures. Really awesome!
