Lil' Elvis and V30's are not really a great combo... I've tried as I have both a 1x12 65amps cab. to go with it and a 4xV30 cabinet. The difference is so great that I don't even (in most cases) are up to personal taste...
The 1x12 cabinet that you can get with the Elvis really rocks with it though.
@mojostrat58 hello, Matchless is better than anything, I had a fender super reverb, vibroverb, 65 lil elvis, bogner shiva, marshall slash....HE WINs them !
The Matchless sound is real old school sound like and old 54 with the high end harmonic, while the Lil' Elvis is dose it more in the middle both sound great and both have there place. I love my Lil' Elvis combo but can see myself being happy with the Matchless.
@richiepowa, Set the Matchless to 4ohm and run it into the 8 Ohm cab then.. that is a perfectly safe mismatch.. and run the 65 amp into the Bogner cab on correct ohm setting.
rock 'n' roll, I've got the spitfire and a 6L6 Shiva - you should turn up the spitfire up a little more - it sounds way better (IMHO) when you get the the power tubes overdriving...
I'd call the Lil Elvis slightly more balanced in this video, but I have a feeling the speaker choice has something to do with it. Both great amps, either way. According to this video, I think the Lil Elvis sounds better in your setup
Lil Elvis is smoother, but the V30 has the mid spike thing going on. The Matchless is crisp.
Check them out with a G12H or a gold. Both nice amps

I didn't have anymore the bogner and the 65 amps, but nevertheless the matchless cab is in 4 Ohm only!

you should really run them through the same speaker cabinet, speakers affect the sound massively

@sinbindinchin unfortunately, the matchless cab is in 4 Ohm and the 65 head is in 8 or 16 Ohm !!

and please do some more clips of both. There simply aren't enough demo's of either of these, especially the Spitfire

The lil elvis sounds just a tad bit warmer to me. Two awesome amps, though.
