  • with my English charm, please grow some FUNK of your own

  • I was at Dodger Stadium too. Seems like yesterday...we sat on second base about 10 of us, all from the same high school...we slept in our cars on the side of the hill the night before. Just us and cases of beer. Do you remember the food fight? Wow, you sure could get away with a lot and have some fun back then...we danced on second base through the entire concert...

  • very underplayed Elton John tune, it seems to be that only the major Elton John fans recognize this song

  • totally underrated album !!!

  • OMG I CAN STILL REMEMBER WHEN HE SANG THIS SONG AT THE DODGER STADUIM IN 75, ITS STILL IS BAD ASS TO ME, AND IT STILL MAKES ME GET UP AND MOVE LOVE IT !

  • FANTASTICiCo

  • NOW THATS THE 70's

  • i love the overbearing bass on this song!

  • illustrate....I think Elton even got married to a gal....Obviously didn't last.

  • Um, did EJohn ever pick up a woman, or attempt to?

  • @illustrate100 Maybe his lyricist did!

  • The band: Kiki Dee - vocals, Caleb Quaye - guitars / vocals, Davey Johnstone - guitars / vocals, EJ - vocals / piano, James Newton-Howard - keyboards, Kenny Passarelli - bass guitar / vocals, Roger Pope - drums, Ray Cooper - percussion

  • Surround yourself with the best musicians and you can't go wrong...

  • The best Rocker that Elton Ever recorded. I love the lines about the back slappin boyfrend. Here is the wimpy little guy trying to put the moves on a hot mexican gal. It wasn't a huge hit for him, but in my opinion, it should have been added to his many number ones! This one NEVER gets old for me!

  • @avdreader1 I absolutely agree!! Has been my favorite of his since the day i heard it way back when I was knee high.

  • Love the bass on this album.

  • Back when Elton was still playing good old cool music!

  • One of eltons best ever albums xxx

  • Dynamite song....

  • Sir Elton hit #14 in Billboard, 2-28-76. God bless ya, for postin' it. Thanx!

  • MUIINNTO BOM!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Now, THIS IS MUSIC !!!!!!

  • elton is as much about his bass player than a lot of things.

  • @gloiven

No,actually,he is not "about his bass player".Nor is he "than",.....whatever the hell that is supposed to mean.

    Nor ."A lot of things'.

  • @watayapupuya I think he means that the bass playing is what makes Elton John songs stand out.

  • Rock on Scotty! Rock of the Westies is one of my favourite albums of Elton.
