Update: Engine and Revo still running excellent. Nothing burned up. Seems if you know how to run an engine properly, it should not burn up. Let's have fun!
You should only do that before a race to rev up your engine and clean it of excess fuel so it wont load up and bog. If you call that a burnout, then my daddy is Santa Claus... You want to see real burnout? Try putting on the shitty stock T-maxx chevrons in combo with a .28 engine. Thats all you will be doing..... All I need to do is install those crappy tires on my STS .30 Savage and press the throttle :)
Thank you for your comments. Depends on the day. This day it was in fact richened up before the footage was shot. But I can see how it would appear that way. It was leaner earlier in the day.
Thank you for your comments. While I would not recommend this practice to new drivers, this particular Revo driver has many years in the hobby and has driven many nitro powered machines. The engine was tuned a little rich before he performed the burnouts and although it looks like it's serious abuse I am happy to report that yesterday at the private test track his Revo was performing like a champ. Stay tuned for more Revo action!
