However, don't get confused. Obama never promised to get troops out of AFGHANISTAN. It was IRAQ that he promised to get them out of. He pretty much said he would be even more aggressive in Afghanistan.

And he had to, because even though it makes no sense to you, or me, he probably would have lost the election had he promised to get troops out of both, & McCain would be president, and there would be no end in sight for either of them.
