Kind of misleading: the PC 09 is not this game. The PC 09 is old nhl 2004 with some gfx and roster tweaks. This trailer is only valid for the xbox and px3 game.

theres this thing that you buy its a cd and you put it in the ps2 and install it then hook up the internet i think the cd is like 20-30 bucks

My ass, it is. How come there are NEVER any random A.I. fights?? The only way to have a fight is the person playing has to initiate it! Ridiculous! Also, the fight part itself is very borderline anyways. Whoever is responsible for this year's fighting concept should be fired. It's insulting.

I think EA needs to rethink the "it's in the game" motto. Either mirror real hockey in your game or just give it up alltogether. I won't get fooled again next year.

That's correct. Do you watch hockey? Are there fights within the game? Of course there is, and they can happen at any time. You seem alright with having AI players receiving random penalties, but not fighting? I'm looking for a real hockey sim and this IS NOT it.

Gotta complain. EA isn't going to make changes if everyone just keeps buying their games. I'm not anymore, and if lots of people stopped, maybe it would make them wake up. As far as "08" and "09"? Well, the only thing that seperates the two for me, is that "09" has the BE A PRO which is well done. Other than that, my playing experience is about equal.

im with you. i also love how people only cross check in this game. and every time ovechkin shoots the puck, it somehow finds its way in. if you can combine ea's graphics, with 2ks gameplay, and gretzky 05's soundtrack, it would be perfect.

no. you have to position lock yourself on the goalie. not the same. ea aims for the big systems like 360 and ps3.

EASPORTS cant yet make 3D Games Like this on Nintendo Consoles such as wii They eventually will make some in 2010 or later.. They need to eventually know how to code in games for nintendo in atleast 5 years. :P
