my pattern starting out is up up up down down up up down down on 3 string but some people just find it easier or more comfortable with actually picking the hammer on note just whatever is more comfortable really.

i would say he is VERY good lol but you can never say best you know what i mean? cause there are so many people who aren't known like i can play all these songs now but that in no way means i'm a better musician i can't think of this shit and piece it together like he can some people are just all around better musicians than others playing guitar just takes practice. you can just practice certain things like sweeping and shredding and be a terrible musician but shred like crazy know what i mean?

i agree he is very clean and technical but i'm not sure he is better than loomis than sweeping miles of machines is anything i've heard from ziras if you've got something for me to watch from ziras post the link and i'll watch it i just haven't seen much from him besides his sweep madness video and this and i can play the sweeps madness ones from ear but idk just post something and i'll take a look

it's just supposed to be down and up but he is picking the last note of the arppegio so........i guess it's still sweeping but with alternate picking thrown in normal sweeping is just down up motions not saying he's not good lol but people just learn it differently

Lol, He is not alternate picking. It kind of looks like he is because when dong those three string sweeps you have to pause with your picking hand and do the hammer-on on the high e string. He is sweeping, not alternate picking.

What a load of bullshit. He is the best sweep picker i have ever seen, better than Jason Becker and slightly better than Jeff Loomis (this is technique wise). His sweeping is incredibly clean and fast, slow down any of this and you will hear it is dead on..there is a reason he has toured with the likes of Angelo Batio and has features in guitar world. Good technique is a technique that alows you to play well, he plays the best so i would say his is the best no?

Look, fuckface, it's not about technique, it's about composition. Any noob can sit in his basement and practise sweep until his cock falls off. I haven't seen ziras nor loomis come up with anything near what becker did.

Check out Jeff Loomis's song Miles of Machines. The intro alone blows away anything Jason Becker played, or the arpeggio section of This Godless endeavour, or if you want something non shred based the solo to The River Dragon has come. And no not anyone can sit in his basement and practice 10 hours a day to get that good, most people do not have the passion and drive to push themselves to that level.

I would also like to point out that all I was talking about was technique, NOT composition..some idiot was saying his technique was shit, I pointed out he can play better (not necessarily compose better) than pretty much everyone thus his technique is clearly not bad...
