It's definitely irrational and wrong to stab somebody over Girl Scout Cookies, but in a way, the Girl Scout leadership almost invites this kind of behavior through their business model. They create an exclusive product that can only be sold by a certain few during a limited production window early in the year (with no online sales either!), and create artificial scarcity. They should know by now that demand is far outpacing the supply for these things and start selling them year-round.
