  • If your telling me that your gonna blame the driver if you get hit standing there then your a fucking idiot. especially this, watch this

    /watch?v=s3apsj5WoZA&feature=youtu.be

  • I just read about this in an ESPN magazine. Such a sad story. My heart goes out to all the victims, their families, the driver and the witnesses that were there. I couldn't imagine.

  • shit happens and blaming the driver is ignorant.

  • Fuck you mudmafia, she shouldnt have been so close, idiot

  • fuck this im looking for the other one where the fags got killed..it was in a hillbilly race?

  • pwned!

  • Beside blaming the spectators' lack of common-sense, blame the promoter too for not taking safety as the main issue.

  • fucking morons

  • fucking idiots standing so damn close

  • nice

  • to all you who like the driver i wish your kid dies like my sister did you selfish fucks

  • God i fucking hate stupid people the only one i feel sorry for is the damn driver I would have fucking fought ever mother fucker that turned on the driver its not his damn fault that he crashed in a god damn off road race especially when he has to drive through crowds of drunk stupid ass spectators. I just hope that this guy doesn't stop racing because of all this

  • wat actual happen was that the truck hit the hill the wrong way and rolled into the crowd

  • @MrKoolguyguy actually thats not the reason for the roll, if you don't know what you're talking about, don't post

  • 15 mph o i thought that it was a race get the hell of the track or anywhere close to the track It a race what is the definition of a race to go as fast as you can!

  • The rules of the race are that when entering crowded areas, the driver is supposed to slow to 15 MPH right? Have you ever been to a WORKS race or any such offroad event? There are people lining almost the whole track! Its a race, I sure as hell wouldnt slow down for the crowds either, get the hell off the track! If some guy was dickin around on the Daytona 500 track and got hit, would you feel bad? Or is it his damn fault for bein too close?

  • @wes39393 There's no such rules in the large events. SCORE runes most of those.

  • it is organisators fault, not the driver, and not those people..

  • This report is wrong. It makes Sloppy look like and idiot. If the people were back a 100 feet or so he would have been able to see better and maybe even avoid the wreck. I feel bad for the people, but you take your life in your own hands at these kind of events.

  • Blame yourself, people who either got injured or killed in this event. You were dumb enough to stand so close, especially around those area where trucks are landing.

  • why the fuck u want to rush the driver for i'm sure this event is not regulated ,if u get injured or worst its on u , if u wern't there nothing would have happened to ,u he lost controle ppl

  • If everyone is so keen on blaming somebody, blame MDR...they did not enforce the rules, no barriers and no ambulance on sight like they were supposed to have, it took them 45 mins to help my fiancé and his friend, that’s a joke.

  • @Alcameron12 Its a big desert they can only mark so many spots to be so far away from the track its the crowds fault

  • Wow that was my fiancé and his best friend and almost myself, everyone is entitled to their own opinions but show some respect, by the way the driver was one of our friends so of course he was forgiven and we can’t blame him for an accident but do not sit there and blame it on the spectators either. tell you what you go to one of those events and watch someone you love slowly die in your arms and then tell me your new opinion. MDR should have followed through with what they promised

  • oh god no..

  • no one attacked him thats such mdiea bullshit!!! at its worse

  • too close. But you can always park your vehicle away from the crowd, stand in the bed of your truck or on the roof. Find another spot that isn't so crowded. USE COMMON SENSE. This is NOT the driver's fault in any way. The driver is actually my boyfriend's buddy. Think about the pain he's going through from all the guilt. Be respectful and think before you post stuff on here. This is a race; expect the drivers to be traveling at high speed. Realize that it's dangerous. F U C K.

  • To all you ignorant idiots that think the bystanders were victims: YOU'RE WRONG. The rule is to stand back at least 150 feet. You don't listen, you are most likely going to pay for it somehow. Don't get me wrong, I feel terrible that several people lost their lives. However, I am very familiar with the sport. It's actually my dream to race trophy trucks. But there is no reason for these people's stupidity. Sure, your vision of passing trucks might be blocked by the rest of the idiots standing...

  • Its simple, the crowd had no reason to turn against him, its a 2 ton monster on wheels that speeds over jumps and sand, and you have rules that say, don't stand within 150 feet of the track...So when you stand next to the track, right next to a jump, and get a face full of tire and steel, just remember, you're the dumbfuck who stood that close. This is just natural selection at its finest.

  • this is not the driver fault...........you no the danger.you push your luck..you loose..sorry for all the family..

  • they've always been that dumb

  • This did not have to happen, befor any event you always put safety in place frist. I see big GOV. law suite here NUTS !

  • No, you're all wrong. It's the event organizer's fault for not doing enough to control the crowds. This is the exact same reason that group B rally got banned by FIA in the 80's, a car plowed into a crowd and some people died. FIA blamed the cars and banned them, instead what they should have done was improve track-side safety BEFORE something like this happened.

  • @DrGreenthumbPhd

No, Group B was cancelled because of both the incredibly difficult task of controlling crowds AND because drivers and co-drivers were getting killed regularly.

I mean, the drivers of the time themselves (and these were good) said that the cars were getting undrivable and downright dangerous.

You cant really compare this incident to the whole of Group B, tbh.

  • @TBKJi1 The death of Toivo was the last straw, but the spectator deaths lead up to that. Wow, you has knowledge! Tip: When you read something, you need to read the context as well. Comprehension fail. I didn't compare to all of group B, I just said the ORGANIZERS were the ones at fault, while all the YTidiots blamed the spectators or the driver. Obviously the latter aren't completely without fault either. Trophy trucks are notorious for this, why nothing was done to improve safety baffles me.

  • @DrGreenthumbPhd That's like saying it's the bartender's fault for serving too much alcohol to drunken unruly customers when a fight breaks out, and someone gets seriously hurt or even killed. It's always easy to blame someone else for your own actions. It's not up to the bartender to regulate how much someone's had to drink. People need to take responsibility for their own alcohol intake. In this situation, I blame the spectators' inability to use common sense regarding their own safety.

  • @mariofan4523 I won't dispute that, if you truly care about your personal safety, you will stay the fuck back! But we all know that there are these "hardcore" fans who like to get up close and personal, leaving logic and reason behind. In states/provinces that require SmartServe licensing, a bartender AND the bar are held liable if say a patron gets hammered, and drives into a tree. The bar can be fined $250K and the barman can go to jail. Depends where you are I guess. Flipside to every coin.

  • @DrGreenthumbPhd Just curious what you would do to impose roadside safety?

  • @mariofan4523 Just off the top of my head? Well, I'd probably set up designated viewing areas much like a rally course. Prohibit people from standing on the apex of a turn, or standing too close to the road (usually orange tape/rope is enough). Set up protective barriers where crowds are likely to gather, like near a massive jump. And obviously hire more people to keep fans in check. But all of this costs extra money, so let's blame the driver or the "dumb ass civilians".

  • humans are a self destructive species

  • dumb ass civilians

  • I heard on the news the driver quickly ran off to dodge the rocks people were throwing at him. Now some are saying he was hurt. Maybe once he came to, he ran off? I feel sorry for Mr. Sloppy having to live with this the rest of his life.

  • Thrillseekers living on the edge.

  • Dumbasses stand too close to the road during these races, something was bound to happen.

  • JUSTIN BIEBER SUCK

  • @mandarin102 yet everyone is off his nut's...hmmmmm

  • @mandarin102 Man, there are times and videos were comments like this shouldnt be posted. Comon man.

  • this does suck but the spectators should have pulled there head out of there asses on this one. Ive work many circle track racing events as safety crew and ive been the flager for corners at a few stadium truck races were cars and trucks go past me doing a lot more than 60mph but i know what can happen to me when shit goes wrong and believe me it has a few times, but i also know that just because 30 cars go past me with nothing happening over and over that i can play how f***en close can i get.

  • @CKL1995 go die for my amusement, so i piss on your grave.

  • they didnt hate on the driver thats BS

  • That's not funny at all,. RIP and bless the families. A couple real FUNNY stories are the death of Steve STINGRAY IRWIN and that of Michael the MOLESTER Jackson....these two deaths are HILARIOUS! HA HA HA HA Both were weirdos and deserved what they got. HA HA HA HA HA

  • I feel bad for the families, but these people are grown and should know that standing this close might be a bad idea. I've seen a documentary on the baja race in Mexico and couldn't believe the things these people do. Trying to touch the trucks as they go shooting by, creating man made obstructions or holes to cause crashes just so they can witness a crash, and other craziness. It really sucks that this happened, but I'm not too completely surprised by this news. My sympathy to the families.

  • @CKL1995 you are racist calling ppl "niggers & beaners" what the fuck is wrong with you? & what the fuck are you talking about my sport? i told you i didn't care to read your replys. Obama.

  • @CKL1995 i didn't even read your last 4 reply's cause your hella pointless, leave me alone.

  • @CKL1995 cause i hate kids like you, your parents did a shit job raising you. get the fuck off youtube and go do something that gets your adrenaline going, like jump off a cliff with a scooter and die.

  • For those who know nothing about phonetics, the driver last name is pronounced "SLOPE-EE." Not sloppy. JBHutto, I'll be sure to keep your comment in mind and share with the family of one of the eight whose funeral I'll be attending next week. He was farther back, NOT right on the track. However, a truck like that, going that rate of speed that pitches upon landing is bound to roll pretty far and have some good momentum behind it. You should have seen it, it was insane.

  • @CKL1995 why, motorcross is gay & suicidal. only Nazi's like you get your jollys off of death.

  • @CKL1995 fuck you, fuckin NAZI FUCK!!!!!!

  • IRONIC THE DRIVER'S NAME IS MIKE SLOPPY.

  • Comment removed

  • @mrnodzilla have you ever raced anything? Their is a phrase race to win.. Not race to go around the track.. Racing is about pushing limits.. Brett was racing but IMO I think he misjudge the slow truck in front of him and may has checked his brake.. As a motocross/quad racer myself, checking the brake to late into a jump sends you end over end... Bottom line I believe spectating is a sport for those that can't afford to race. Getting that close to the action is a rush bc of the danger factor jus

  • Rednecks.

  • why do people have to be idiots and hat eon people for doing what they like to do.? you dont even know the people.

  • no wonder why his name was sloppy !!!!!

  • The fans did not turn on the driver. In fact the driver was unconscious as a result of the crash.. Nobody threw rocks it's all bullshit and if you were there or knew anybody that saw it first hand they will tell you the same thing...

As far as fault well I wouldn't stand in-between lanes on a freeway...

Someone earlier posted that the driver was going to fast?? WTF did he realize that it was a race and not practice?? Duh

  • @ojedaxx . Yes it's a race , but surely it's not about being flat out at all times , where's the sport in that ? Don't you have to know how fast to take certain crests ? Or is it anybody with the cash to endulge their fantasy gets to floor it from the start ?

  • @MrNodzilla

"where's the sport in that?" Do it and see.

  • some people are saying ban the race there, but heres my argument, the people that got killed were standing right next to the fucking track when they had fences 100 feet from the track just for this reason, but no, their dumbasses gotta jump the fence and get closer and uess what, they got killed, so dont take it out on the driver and the other people that race the event, blame the people that are stupid enough to get close to the damn track, use some common sense people

  • @45x45bw they should of thought of that and paid for security to stop people frm climbing the fence... it obviusly wasnt safe enough thats why they are banning it.

  • @yourmumisadick

Yeah, let's babysit everyone. Darwin has his place in nature.

    banning what?

  • The fault lies with management & overzealous drivr. Not enough cushion between each driver is the root cause of this disaster. Cheerleaders stand too close to the field and offroad spectators are going to watch from shoulder. Wouldve never happend if drivers were started further apart and if driver wasn’t carrying excessive speed. It's not stock car racing on an oval track. Guard rails? That would be like building The Great Wall of China. People were too close to the starting line, not the track

  • this rally has been going for 50 years... now they end it ... fuck you people its a watch at your own risk fuck heads

  • this has been a very tragic accident, the one that will end up the worst is that driver, my heart goes out to every one, but the driver will forever be stuck with the consquences of others in his head.

  • @TreeSniffer2

I hardly would call the dumb fucks innocent I would call them dumb fucks for standing on the side of the track, bottom line they gambled with their life and lost. On top of that you think its ok to give someone a beat down because your emotions got the better of you .....guess what that "Excuse" doesn't hold up in court........many people have tried it so I guess it isn't the right way to be then :)

  • @AlexanderPimm nice try but u sent that to the wrong person. i was the one telling him that the driver wouldnt go to jail or be fined. My emotions did not get the better of me because im not the one crying over youtube comments. get ur facts straight before you reply to someone. good try tho! lol who am i kidding...no it wasn't!!! :)

  • @TreeSniffer2

what lol? apparently trees aren't the only thing you been sniffin?

  • @AlexanderPimm ive never met anyone more retarded than you

  • @AlexanderPimm ROFL!

  • @rangerrazor2104

OH OK I gotcha so basically you are saying that this level of stupidity runs in the fans of the sport world wide not just US side ok thanks for the clarification (^_^)

  • The driver just earned the splatter kill achievement! Woohoo!

  • @FireBomberBassist your a idiot

  • @tim2kids You're* you mean.

  • @FireBomberBassist your a dumb ass

  • is it just me or was it way out of line for the crowd to turn on the driver... the driver is there to race and while racing he should not have to be worried about dumb ass people close enough to slap his truck...its not anything new for off road race vehicles to break, crash and do things not quite expected. its unfortunate people got hurt but if they were thinkin a little maybe they would have stayed at a safe disatnce from the race coarse

  • I honestly can't feel any remorse for the people who were killed after seeing the video of the actual wreck and how close they were(looked much closer than 10 feet as the reports say). I do feel sorry for any kids that died due to their parents' stupidity though. I can understand the whole "risk = fun" mentality but this is the equivalent of standing out in the middle of the road. It's sort of ironic that the driver's name was sloppy.

  • So when is Brett Sloppy(the driver) going to be awarded his Killtastrophe medal?

  • @JBHutto i hope soon he was acutely doing the word a favor now theirs 8 less retards in the word

  • gotta be careful, this trophy trucks are meant to be offroad :O

  • Talking about going out in style

  • why are people so dumb nowadays to stand that close to the track??

  • @nguyenawesome yeah no kidding, you'd think after watching so many accidents on youtube or hearing of it would curb peoples inclination to stand right next to thetrack

  • @nguyenawesome I agree, especially when watching wrc some of them are asking for it

  • @nguyenawesome Yeah its sad but they had it coming standing next to the track behind a jump on a turn!

  • @nguyenawesome Darwin demands it.

  • @nguyenawesome they wanted to feel the real power!

  • @nguyenawesome Dumb people die. Nature's rule is that simple.

  • nice

  • Why'd they chase the driver if they're with their fuckings nose right under the cars "flight path"

  • one more & he could have had a pavelow.

  • good for them hahahahaha

  • That's weird, I was just watching a rally race the other day and thinking those folks are really brave to be standing a couple feet from the cars that go by!!

  • @Boneslinger88 brave my ass there F***EN retards

  • just 8?

    i wouldve gone for higher

  • FAKE!

    this is not real

  • JUSTIN BIEBER KISSED MY FACE

    See my video.

  • Msnbearpig84@ I totally agree with u!

  • Final destination

  • jajaja pwned. with a P :X are they dead o.O?

  • Well what the fuck do they think is going to happen when you stand that fucking close.... fucking idiots.

  • stupid asses, look at all those cops, ambulances, god knows what the cost is just to clean up this mess. All because a bunch of dumb ass californians. They got what they deserved, even if kids were involved. The idiots defending these twats are arrogant too, there is a reason why sports like this need to be outlawed on state lands. A little late to explain the physics of drifting vehicles and super jumps on dirt roads, especially after people are dead.

  • @smrio Thumbs up.

  • Did he die?

  • hope this will teach ppl not to go to a pointless race.

  • ORIFUTON the first convertible armchair into a double bed

  • Born and raised in Baja, I have been part of baja off road races (SCORE and CODE) and it´s like a state sport, there are unwriten rules that you learn here, Rule number one, Track is for that day´s runners ONLY, dont be stupid, and if there´s a new drunk guy or group doing stupid things, we tell them to stay away from the track and if not we just beat them up and tight them down, when police or military drives by we let them know what hapened and tell them it was a civilian arrest(valid in Mex)

  • Hello come watch my amazing video on how to turn your tv into a bell!!and please subscribe!'

  • @madbasementlab why would anyone wanna do that?

  • loadsa sick fuckers on here i hope you get splattered and mangled in front of me then all take a shit on your mangled unreckognisabe body and laugh

  • @marcray7 and who exactly are you calling the "sick fuckers"? you sound pretty sick yourself buddy..

  • haaaaaaaaahaaaaaaaaaa

  • shouldn't of been stupid enough to stand there..

  • theres a video of the crash @live leak

  • the driver had to flee cause people were after him! poor chap didnt mean to do it, its unlucky he has to live with killing 8 people now

  • ...no risk no fun....

  • Why is this posted in RussiaToday xd?

  • @lakostal IN SOVIET RUSSIA, COMRADES WORSHIP AMERICA

  • @mandarin102 i dont get it , why ?

  • those fucking idiots stand really close to the track? why?

  • <---------,)

  • @aliquotqecpjl .. hw did you get a free ipad ?

  • hahahaha shame!!!!

  • i wanna see the video of the crash

  • @waniqra there are 2 videos on youtube

  • shit. i love the american news

  • people are so stupid. Cudos to the driver for not letting these morons spread their genes.

  • These redneck fucks got what they deserved. Its a shame it didn't happen quicker, some were able to reproduce which is a fucking shame. 1 neck spawn equals like 8 kids a generation until they all take a toxic dip of spiked copenhagen like the hailey bop cult.

  • @kibuso dumbass it was probably mexicans

  • Hahaha fucken idiots don't blame the drive!!! You dumb fucks wanted to be close to the track right? Then the blame should be pointed to you idiots for thinking it was safe to even be that close! END OF STORY!!!

  • It's not the drivers fault, spectators should have been way back, fuck with fire ya' get burnt, hey.

  • The driver of the truck's name was Sloppy. Good idea to stay way...way back when he comes.

  • Why would these people throw rocks at the driver, there all dumbasses that's what happens when you stand 10 ft from the track.

  • @partywithJdub Well there's 8 less morons like these alive now. Too bad they all didn't get crushed.

  • dont stand so close to the trucks going 70 mph over a dirt jump...you could end up in a body bag....thats why they have tall fenses at NASCAR races

  • haha, what a bunch of suckers.

  • Too bad. When you're at a race like this - STAY THE FUCK BACK.

  • R.i.P Aaron Farkas from SEAL MASTERS the Escondido Yard............ I.E

  • That is why I never go to one of those races. Is really dangerous to be so close to the track with no barrier. I really hope that they put some barriers now.

  • Comment removed

  • @victorialclow guess what dumbass god is too busy lookingout for for non-retarded idiots if they would it have 2 cents of common sense they would off stay 100feet away and not put their own life in danger.much less bring their infant kids.so you probably are just as fucking stupid as they are.do us a favor next race just go and stay as close to cars as you can that would be a good day.THANK YOU!

  • Comment removed

  • Comment removed

  • @victorialclow I understand they're morons for being that close. Getting the hell out of the way seems like a simple enough concept for me, but I guess this sport is too nuanced for my tiny pea brain to comprehend.

  • @victorialclow What is there to understand? The specators are supposed to stand 100 feet away from the track? THe parents of the children standing that close to the trucks should be charged with child endangerment.

  • @azngen1233= Idiot

  • @azngen1233 you faggot! Black driver does not exist!

  • @azngen1233 riight, bu asians are the best drivers in the world instead?? xD

  • Ive seen many off-road videos where these people try to reach out to the car/truck/dirtbike/quad thats flying through the air to touch it. These idiots try to get as close to the action as possible, then when it hits the fan, they wanna sue. What exactly were they doing so close to that track in the first place? Dont blame other people for your stupidity. These trucks race at speeds well over 100 m.p.h. I'm surprised this doesnt happen at every one of these races.

  • @rickellan Agreed.

  • @rickellan If it happened at every one of these races they all wouldn't learn a thing untill they all got crushed. But then, there would be no one left to go to these events would there?
