This remake------SO much better than the original I have to admit the opening 20 minutes were terrifying...but 20 MINUTES come on that was the only scary part during the whole movie and this one is scary all throughout and just suspenseful and very exciting! LOVE IT!!!

Really good remake! I like it better than the original! Though, I must admit that I enjoyed the first 20 minutes or so of the original When a Stranger Calls a lot as well! The remake is very good! I also loved the Friday the 13th Remake, House of Wax Remake (2005), Black Christmas Remake (2006), My Bloody Valentine Remake in 3D (2009) and I actually kind of enjoyed the Prom Night Remake (2008). I know a lot of people dislike the 2008 Prom Night Remake but I thought it was a fun movie. Cheesyfun!

@twilightgal4life if you want to watch a real horror movie, you should try Halloween (1978), A nightmare on elm street, Friday the 13th or Scream. The first 20 minutes of the original when a stranger calls (1979) is well worth a watch too.
