I knew of expression when they first got major exposure from boty 2002 and then blew up from there till around 04 and 05 and since then members started drifiting towards mostly drifters and rivers but yeah I've always been a fan of expression crew and I've seen their marionette video back in 07 sorry about the confusion

It's really good and they are more advaned but I honestly like fighting gravity more. I just like the more fast paced music and dance than the slower classical stuff that's just an opinion but they are both good and honestly pretty different.

i've been a fan of expression crew way before i even knew about jabbawockees, but the bad thing was eventho i was a fan of expression they were only b-boying in asia. i give respect to jabbawockeez for being heres both crews are great! jabbawockeez gives us something to follow here in the USA, yet expression crew is still known worldwide according to BBOTY(international)

I'm sorry but I disagree. Jabbawockeez creative style does not compare to Expression Crew. If it were a battle between Jabba and Expression, hands down Expression would dominate. Not saying Jabba isn't a worthy contender. I think Jabbawockeez rock and they are good at what they do, but they are no Expressions. They can't hang with the the originals. Period.

That would be Medea Sirkus AKA Demons of the Mind from the Bay Area in Cali. who started out in the early 1970's wearing masks and they continued it in 1980's, which was way before Expression Crew . @MagikPandaz Incorrect, Jabba had it and members of Expression explicitly stated that they talked to Jabba members and borrowed the idea from Jabba during an interview. Obviously how they use the masks and lighting is extremely different from Jabba and thus I consider them both masters in what they do.

@gameproness I seriously doubt this...I don't think expression even knew who Jabbawokies were when they first did this show in 2002 or 2003...hell, I didnt know who they were before they were on TV, although I knew of Reinan (Rockforce)...In the bboy community Expression had far more profile. In terms of creativity though, expression are more refined and original.

From what I know Jabba was officially on TV around 2003 but apparently they had performed a bit before then, I wouldn't know but apparently that's hip-hop history. Who knows when Expression heard of Jabba? I mean I've seen the Jabbawockeez on videos even before they joined ABDC, that's how I originally decided to watch it so maybe Expression saw them somewhere?
