  • Man RATCLIFF you are bad man you are tight and i am a big fan of you

  • "Karate, bitches! Motherfuckers underestimate Karate!" and get KOed with a spinning heel kick!

    Go Ratcliff! Karate represent!

  • haha, i kno right, i just wish he would get more popular, and use more of the karate like machida

  • I always thought boxing compliments Karate very nicely with the hooks and uppercuts so IMHO he's on the right track.

  • well waddya mean by compliment first of all? i would think that karate would be complimenting boxing by taking punchs from it, u know boxing is way older right?

  • Sorry, I meant COMPLEMENT - make more complete. Boxing training complements Karate with hooks and uppercuts which are rarely trained in most styles of Karate (like Shotokan) where the straight punches are valued more since they're faster. Okinawan Karate styles have hooks and uppercuts but they're also performed differently. I think that in terms of strikes with fists, boxing is the most insightful martial art/sport.

  • yea lol im starting to love boxing more and more, but karate will always be my prefferred style. but its tru though that boxing can be very beautiful when in action. its kinda like BJJ, lol you need it for striking, but it doesnt mean its the best style, bcuz unlike BJJ it doestnt beat every style alone all of the time.

  • BJJ also doesn't beat every style alone all of the time.

  • oh wow wen did u c BJJ beaten alone? without mma skill, ur kidding me?

  • Many times. The most famous is Masahiko Kimura (Judo) vs Helio Gracie (BJJ founder).

BJJ is a great system but it's not unbeatable.

  • hmm interesting, judo beat it? u know i know your right, bcuz i can definitely c BJJ getting its ass kidked on he streets, bcuz when it comes to streetfighting you have to know how to stand up and bang, u know? but yea thats tru BJJ isnt unbeatable.

    p.s. GET BACK INTO MMA!

  • Yeah, Judo people have beaten BJJ people before and will continue to do so occasionally if they are taught properly.

And I cannot get back into MMA, in fact I cannot get back into any martial arts right now because I have a severe back condition and undergoing some hardcore treatment. Acupuncture, electricity, some weird ass natural medicine. If this doesn't help I will require an operation and it sucks.

  • accupuncture and electrcity? bioelectric treatment? personally, thats not going to heal the back completely, lol thats just to get rid of pain. and i kow accupuncture has recently been proven to wrok for proven to work for pregant women but still. can u explain the treatment more?

  • I'm pretty skeptical myself but I guess acupuncture is still better than painkillers. I'm being treated by some real Chinese expert with over 15 years of experience and many satisfied patients. I dunno, it's a risk and it's a chance, it could work. I just don't want no operation yet, my condition isn't dire enough, I just want to cure the pain.

  • yea i agree accupuncture good, painkillers bad. i mean dont get me wrong i believe in bioelectrcity, biophotonics, i just recently read an article that the japanese r finding ways to link biophotonics to human health, and qi energy stuff i guess, however im skeptic bcuz i know its going to take alot of energy to even make a dent in the human EM system, its a fact taht our cells carry phenomenal amounts of energy, and simply injecting small amts wont do anything they need alot more energy!

  • I don't know myself, I'll tell you if there's any progress.

  • sur thing good luck man
