Just recognized the allegedly anxious Mexican father who wants his errant son back: it is Franco Lulli who played the jolly but consumptive Italian gelignite truck driver in the original "Wages of Fear" with Yves Montand and Peter van Eyck. He was very good in that but isn't given much scope here. Sadly the actor died long before his time.
