I'm so glad you're a Christian! I know every congregation is different, but my church wouldn't easily follow a style of singing like yours. The song leader doesn't add all the extra stuff to make it pretty and "radio-like" but rather sings the notes so everyone who isn't a professional can stay on pitch and not get distracted by the talent leading singing. After all, it's about the Lord, not how professional of a singer the leader is. The congregation's focus should be on worshiping the Lord.
