@TheNextBigShow At the same time, I am not dissing PCs. PCs are great machines, & a lot more affordable. There OS is getting a lot better, but I firmly believe Apple is the brains behind Windows. Virtually everything they do is a stolen idea from Apple. But BOTH OSs WORK. Depends on what you're used to.

I did a comparison once to make a supercomputer: 24+ G ram, i7s, Quad Core, Awesome processor speeds, graphics cards, etc. Maxing out an HP costed maybe 4k, while the Mac was ~ 25k. Ridiculous.

I'm on a Mac now, & lately Apple has been putting out a lot of features that make it easier to multi-task. Spaces, corners, expose. Now Lion has a whole slew of features coming. Hell, even the multi-click (1,2,3,4 click does different things) make life easier! I am a UID guy myself, but Macs are easier to get around. Face it.

to record video on a PC, you can use FRAPS, hypercam, camstudio, camtasia, and sony vegas has inbuilt recording functionality afaik.

On a mac, you can use this.

On Ubuntu you can use "record my desktop" (search for it in the software center)

(didnt say user friendly, theyre probably the most user friendly) but when i can play all of my games and use all of my windows programs on a mac without using some wierd software some crazy dude in russia with too much money and not enough sense invents, I have no disire to even tough a mac :P. non-linux stuff works through wine and i trust that so....

@AllohaItsScott - you replied to the wrong guy dude. the uploader is the one who asked for a valid argument. xD personally i own both a PC and a mac, for your exact reason; my mac doesn't support enough of my games. but i really wish it did, because i hate windows. just for starters, my PC has better specs than my macbook, but takes twice as long to boot up and crashes ten times as often. i can even boot my mac into windows with bootcamp faster than my PC can boot windows regularly. : \

I don't understand all the Mac hate. Windows has DirectX so it is better for gaming, and thats why I use Windows, but if that doesn't appeal to you then you can use whatever OS you want, really.

Macs ARE overpriced for the hardware, though.
