Look at the accounts posted (check Wikipedia). Some people have invested £millions. They obviously insisted on a live public demo. Steorn are running out of time and they know it.

Maybe it was a genuine mistake, but they've gone about this in exactly the same way that somebody who didn't ever have anything to show would have.

It's a scam.
