Yeah, we teach guests all the possible hazards, what not to do on it, and what will irritate the system. Most guests catch on quickly, but there are a select few that do not understand, nor trust the concept at all.

Hence, resulting in people falling off and crashing. I've pretty much seen it all. I would say that I average out at about 3-4 crashes a week :P

The truth has to be told. Segways are dangerous....very dangerous.

I recently hit an unexpected bump on a quiet country lane, was thrown off, and broke my arm.

I have been thrown half a dozen times from my segway without daring it to.

And worst of all, they are a mean beast that keep on going, impossible to control.

On the other hand they are the perfect solution to my need for a vehicle that gets me to work and costs virtually nothing to run. Be extra careful or regret it.

I like to laugh at most of you guys that crash on these things because you were doing something that it's not made for.
