I learned how to do this move today. Fought about 10 guys. Took a while (and a lot of health from false alarms) but I eventually broke all their legs. I just stood there in a big pile of guys groaning! Must say, I felt a bit sick after doing that move 10 times in a row and watching people die from it eventually...

not to downplay AC 1 or anything, but it's such a boring game. all you do is go from town to town, gather information, kill someone, then leave town and return to your master. rinse, and repeat nine times.

AC2 was much better, in my opinion. and while Altair was a bad ass, the game was just a bit too repetitive. I've heard that AC3 is going to take place during WWII though. or maybe during the current times. I'm not sure.

@TehGamingMasta Ac1's game mechanics aren't advanced enough to add a lot of variety; AC2 was a lot more linear. It makes it more varied overall, but the replay value is severely limited. I also like the atmosphere and story of the first. In that respect the second truly failed me. I wonder how they'd factor firearms into Assassin's Creed, if it were to be the present. Pray that Ubisoft doesn't screw up the franchise.

I'm not sure how they would factor in firearms. It's a bit hard to remain anonymous when you let loose a loud 'boom' every time you kill someone. But they did actually use firearms in AC2, only it was a wrist pistol, and it wasn't very loud.

They could be silenced. But its the mechanics of the game I'm worrying about. Besides, it's a lot more dynamic climbing up a medieval church than a 21st century skyscraper.

I've never pressed A. Maybe it's a way to do it for sure, but all my counter attacks are automatic and do whatever. I don't choose.  I've never heard of choosing your counter attack.

With a large enough pile of hay, or just a really big airbag, it's entirely possible. For a jump that high, everything needs to be big. Not only to effectively absorb the impact, but to make sure the jumper lands where he's supposed to.

But with a small cart full of hay, it's VERY unlikely that anyone would survive a fall from that height.
