Canada is and should be a culturally diverse country. As *Canadians* we start thinking about everyone who lives here as valued members of our society rather than this "us and them" attitude. we always compare ourselves favorably to the US but I witness racism against First Nations from all sorts of people on a regular basis. People need to educate themselves about what our gov'nt has done to First Nations communities for 100s of years and stand together for the welfare of all people in Canada.

Thank goodness for people like Charlie Angus for bringing the housing realities of northern Aboriginal communities to parliament! Now if only the "ears" present can hear what he has shared - they need to help unburden the heaviness that he and the Aboriginal communities are experiencing!
