Get the DSI XL, buy the SDHC R4i card "Happy Box" with a 4gb micro DS Card, download games.... you'll be fucking lol'ing with gaming bliss. The Happy Box comes preinstalled with everything you'll need. Just get a ds rom, copy and paste it into the games section of the microSD card. Easy as hell. Love my DSI XL.

Everybody listen up, the Xtra Large does not have problems with blown up screen resolution, everything looks beautiful, apparently it's just Text that is noticeably blurry, but everything looks sharp and unanti aliased

Spirit Tracks and New Super Mario bro's are 2 games i've tried on a 3DS you actually get a bigger viewing area of the area surrounding both Link and Mario,

on Wikipedia a Nintendo spokesperson mentioned that they had allways wanted bigger screen sizes, and they planned ahead.

Just like with the PSP's UMD movies having a higher resolution than the PSP screen, Allot of DS games have a natural resolution that was allways bigger than the original screen size on the DS phat and lite, so anybody thinking big screens isn't worthwhile because it will "look grainy" think again! i like the fact that it's more about personal preference.

I've tried a XL at stores, games look very clear, there's no noticeable anti aliasing or degraded quality, except Text that's said to look blurred slightly, but everything else is fine.

It's probably because DS games are at a bigger resolution than the DSI screens,

as if Nintendo planned to introduce bigger screens which according to wikipedia report they did, like how UMD movies have a resolution for TV's and not just PSP

But i will be saving for the XL because it's awesome.

I probably should have paid the extra 50 bucks for the XL but the Eye was so cheap at the time, this store was having a clearance sale, and it was available with my favorite color!

Still got the color of caked blood and poop available for the XL here, no midnight blue yet.

Strange how the bronze is depicted as brown, but it actually looks quite silver with a dark grey color for the screen sides.

Its best for adults or people with larger hands that makes it slightly more easy to wield while making it easier to see so they dont have to strain their eyes if theyre older. Its not very portable which kind of defeats the purpose of it being a portable game system unless you wear big pants with big pockets but for self respecting adults who would rather not be seen playing a gaming system that consists of games mostly for children its perfect to play at home

first off, the bigger screen is easier on the eyes, 2nd the battery life is improved on the XL compare to dsi.

Third it's huge and pretty comfortable adn easier to play touch games with the stylus.

I wear size 16 pants and I can still fit it in my pocket. It's still not even that heavy and it's still easily portable. The main reason I got the XL is because more room for animating. Plus it's just too cool and to play your games all over again on bigger screens. Call it not great, but you'll have to experience it for yourself.
