Well, as there are no videos out there to actually showcase a good result, you can only compare the statistics, which would mean that the 2 are very close to eachother:
McLaren F1:
0-60mph in 3.2 sec.
1/4 mile race in 11.1 sec @ 138mph.
Nissan GT-R (R35, stock):
0-60mph in 2.9 sec (watch Edmund's Inside Line videos of the GT-R, they achieved this time with the R-mode start... thing)
1/4 mile race in 11.2 sec (Inside Line's time) @ 122.7mph and 11.6 sec (Motor Trend's time) @ 120mph.
Next video should be: "What happens when a McLaren takes on modified Skyline GTR (no matter which generation). That GTR is obviously bone stock. @johngorgis you're right about the stock power. japanese cars in the 90's were built under strict laws. I believe the stock cars were limited to 280hp. also they all had a speed limiters at 180km(around 110mph). but this was only for the jdm version.

you can put whatever skyline you want next to it..no V6 in the world will beat this thing, it's advantage, it is incredibly powerful and long so it handles the power well. Downside, it's only good as a drag car since it does not turn as well as some of the smaller v6's due to it's length and weight. =)

I've known skylines, supras and even fords that would blow this car out of the water. Plus our cars cost not even 1/10th of the cost of the F1. I've even owned a nissan silvia that was faster than most production ferrari.

@johngorgis you're right about the stock power. japanese cars in the 90's were built under strict laws. I believe the stock cars were limited to 280hp. also they all had a speed limiters at 180km(around 110mph). but this was only for the jdm version.

For those haters who are a fanboys of jdm cars like the skyline, hear this. do you even know why the skyline was chosen to challenge the f1, because its the only car worthy enough to challenge the f1. For those who thought that why wasn't the R34 was chosen to challenge the f1, because this was documented more than a decade ago, probably on 1998. The R34 GTR didn't exist at that time yet.
