@slashLTU the fifth string actually is a low B, not an high one. So it doesn't change a thing in playing high notes. the fact that he plays it all the way high up the neck also has to do with the fact that the song contains both low and high notes all the time. :)

@slashLTU I play this the same way on my 5-string, The tone doesn't feel quite right to me on the 5th string, so I stick to the fourth for this particular piece on my particular instrument in my particular play style. Artistic license FTW, Get that bass clef out of your ass and enjoy the diversity.
