To be more accurate, SHIMATTA can mean shit. It can also mean crap, damn, oops, or anything else along those lines depending on the context. I personally think KUSO and its derivatives are closer Japanese equivalents to shit than SHIMATTA, but that might just be me.

Your right, I kinda don't like TOD2's storyline and character development. And I get annoyed a lot hearing Kyle yell hero or Eiyu a lot and which unlike to Veigue that I love hearing him yell Kurea.

Anyway, glad your back at least and hope you get your motivation back~

It's weird, but I can't clearly explain my love for ToD2, or my disinterest in ToD. When I put it together, it makes no sense, but... ToD2 is so jam packed with warm fuzzies and nostalgia for me, and the character interaction, the voice acting, the adventure... I don't know, I just love everything about the game. I really wish I could explain it better because there's so many people out there that hate ToD2. I don't get that either. xD;

Anyway, I'll be following~

I hated ToD2 up until I realised it was amazing. I find it had some of the best battle mechanics in the series, and that was really the game's strong point, along with it's rather charming characters, which is something Tales of Destiny lacked. Hard.

And as for me... I loved it right off the bat. And I agree about ToD's characters, though I did like both Stan and Lion. ToD unfortunately has a gigantic cast of playable characters (or so it feels) and none of them really reached out and grabbed me. The best characters were... the Swordians. xD

And that's another element I enjoyed about ToD2... meeting the Swordians in the past. For me, ToD2 built on what was cool about ToD, the thing with the Swordians, Stan's disappearance, even meeting the person that invented the Swordians! The story wasn't amazing, but stuff like that struck me as pretty epic. The Judas/Lion thing too, though painfully obvious... it was really neat to have Lion around again. Back with maturity this time! ;D

Yeah, I agree. Actually, Leon and Rutee were the only characters I liked, and I absolutely hated rutee's script for some reason or another. I didn't really like the idea of the swordians, but they had a lot of character. More than most of the cast did.

Awesomeness! I've wanted to see a direct translation of this for a while~ I know that there is the ToDR wiki, but it's nice to see the video with the translations up at the same time, rather than playing the game and then reading up on the dialog later. And about the ToD2 subs, I would say that if you really don't like ToD2, then drop the project. There's no point in tormenting yourself through a game you don't like.

Ooh, a splendid surprise indeed! To be honest, I wasn't sure I wanted to konw how Destiny 2 went without fully understanding what went down in this game first. Not to mention, I'm particularly interested in Destiny, what with all I've seen so far and its popularity in the Tales of series. I would love to see more of this; keep it up whenever you can, lanyn! :D
