Part 1.

Robben is a genius. It speaks volumes about Hybris Madrid, the Lehman Brothers of football, that they thought they wouldn't need him anymore. It's really not a football club anymore, it rather resembles a circus or a cult. Nothing real at Real.

Good for Bayern. If they're able to keep Ribery and get one or two good defenders, they'll have a highly competitive team in the future. The potential is there, the future looks pretty bright (thanks to a sustainable economic model...).

Part 2.

Arjen Robben is an essential part of the big project. He knows that and it's what he needed to know.

In Munich he's more than welcome and by all accounts that's exactly how he feels. He constantly praises the almost family-like atmosphere of the club. Meanwhile, the Bayern fans are gushing not only over Robben's skills on the pitch, but also his character. He's a very likable guy; friendly, decent, modest, no affectations.
