Great way to avoid snipers without sacrificing damage is to use Cold-blooded and use the FMJ attachment. Sucky part of Cold-blooded is that it replaces Stopping Power, but the FMJ is a good substitute as it adds a small amount of damage to the weapon.

in wastelands, i use a ump gun with cold blooded and marathon pro and ninja, i run around the outside the whole time and kill snipers, i usually get a k/d ratio of 5:1 without sniping on this level

Aaronbh it depends on preference and game type. For a game type that u need a good kd like team deathmatch u need alot of ammo too. So usualy scavenger. For s and d u prob wana use slight of hand since u usualy don't use all ur ammo. It depends is u rush or play defencivly like cakes here. He is more defencive so he is able to reload fine with the normal reload time so he uses scavenger so he doesn't run out of ammo

the m4a1 has a messed up red sight also. I played 1 game with the red do trying to get headshots. and with 45-3 only 8 headshots... and I aimed at their head almost every time. But I still got my fall for it. :D

i use two tactics to get past those snipers (1) use marathon and cold blooded and get there before they do.... or (2) also use a thermal intervention and outsnipe them.... just depends which works better for that specific game really.

I have played around with the red dot and holographic on the FAMAS (in a private match) and I have found that the red dot is actually more accurate. I tested it at long and mid-range and the grouping is tighter with the red dot sight. If anyone can confirm or refute that let me know. :)
