@aviomaster well kosovo itself was a federal provice accourding to the SFRJ constitution that tito allowed. 2nd albanian were prosicuted thereso they fought back and the modern day borders of kosovo were divised up at the first yugoslavia! republika srpska never b4 existed in history and bosnia had its own kindgom, with kings, language, history,culture, liturature,law etc through history. if u doubt me go to bosnian queen katarina grave in rome and read what it says

@aviomaster you are correct because I am from Bosnia, and I am a Croat, I often hear stories from my family and we never hated each other so much. we had serb and muslim neighbords and i have cousins who are half of both races. The USA and the European Union are to blame, but especially the whole EU because BOSNIA IS LAND LOCKED IN EUROPE we are EUROPEANS and its not fare the world allowed this to happen. I am not muslim but I agree its more then obvious the world is attacking muslims.

1. Macedonia won't get in because of its name and Greece.
2. Croatia won't get in because of Slovenia.
3. Serbia won't get in until they find "war criminals", which the EU has demanded. Serbia might not want to join because of the fall out over Kosovo.
4. Montenegro has been slow in pace
5. BOSNIA: won't get in for a long time probably because of politicians, ethnic tensions, and dumb crap. Unlike Serbia & Croatia, Bosnia is not ethnically homogeneous and things will take time to heal.
Yes, I enjoyed the report too. My cultural anthropology class here in the Netherlands is visiting Bosnia in July so I'm excited. I've had to do a lot of research on the country though first. lol
Their politicians don't know how to act like politicians and Bosnians are putting up with it. Why don't young people protest and force the world to pay attention to them? They should take a cue from Iran and object to the way their government works.

Yes, it's a very disappointing situation, the politicans of Bosnia hold their own people hostage using ethnic and cultural rhetoric to keep people divided. Only muslims hold a Bosnian identity, not many Croats and Serbs do.
Perhaps the reason why Bosnian Croats and Serbs have passport of Croatia and Serbia respectively and not Bosnian Passports is that it is much easier to travel to EU and other countries. Especially Croats as Croatia looks to be next country to join EU
