I use Fruityloops too, in combination with my MicroKORG and a drumcomp like the ESX it is capable of creating what I call some nice Industrial:P But this is cool too! Nostalgic Megaman xD

I find fruity loops/studio to be quite a powerful and capable PC based synth, i still prefer my alesis ion and moog voyager(I'm an analog nut....)over pc based though.
But fruity is a good way to get into synths....its cheap, powerful, and easily modified and upgraded.
Reason is good, but is aimed towards more advanced users imo.
Keep on doing what you like, don't listen to naysayers k?
