был там когда мне было 10 лет. тогда я мог только догадываться куда я попал, но все-таки чувствовал важность этого мероприятия. а еще мне посчастливилось пообщаться со Scorpions живьем: вышел с арены за водой и увидел их, катающихся на электромобиле для гольфа вокруг Лужников, они остановились, к ним подошло человек десять, но английский в 89-м знали немногие, и я со своими 3 классами пытался им что-то сказать. жаль, таких фестивалей больше не будет.

@mcclalf , yes, they did play two nights. It was a huge 11-hours set: Skid Row kickstarted the things, then three Russian bands played (Nuance, Brigada S and Gorky Park), then Cinderella kicked some major ass, then Ozzy came onstage drunk, then Motley rocked the hell out of everybody, then Scorpions, then an hour pause 'cause Bon Jovi needed to powder their noses, then they played, and only then it was a killer jam (both nights, 12th and 13th of August). I know 'cause my uncle's been there.
