All the girls alleging rape or molestation don't have a "scratch on their body to suggest that there was any resistance or any violence by the accused. Moreover, the complaints have been lodged weeks and even months after the incidents. So definitely this is a very dubious kind of a charge and unfortunately Anand was left alone and there was hardly any help.

Generally, the shame of such a case makes it difficult for the girls to come out about it to the police right away... seeing someone else complain first makes things easier, which is why some of them would have waited a while. Anand was hardly alone... he had plenty of money and a high-profile attorney as well... what more should a child molester be given? And just because rape is forced, it doesn't necessarily mean that there would be any marks left behind for certain.

Yeah... 5-6 years per offense, which adds up to 80 years for 16 offenses... which is what he should have got. US judges have given white people life sentences for smaller crimes, so it definitely isn't racism. I'm Indian too, and I find it disgusting that Indians cry racism whenever any legal action is taken against them, even when they deserve it. Just because we're used to mock justice in India, don't apply that to other countries as well.
