Most scientists of credibility who do* believe that 2012 will bring about radical changes believe the purely astronomical aspect that the poles will switch, resulting in changes in wind and water currents. Essentially, the assumption is that 2013 will have a lot of bad storms...but not apocalyptic ones. And very nice work! Keep photographing and painting! The world needs artists to see the good in it.
