  • i've heard of a blowjob but HOLY SHIT MAN. cover the mic next time lol. that's neat tho, crazy dude!

  • looks like it flies well, how much is something like this, and what is the max load those wings can take?. If i was you id step it up to like a prop person were you can peddle it. that and have basic steering.

  • A manned zagi!

  • 0:32 "Wait a second... This isnt a hat!"

  • Shit is so sketchy flat top paramotor all the way

  • The problem is how he will coming back dude

  • Holy balls, that was ridiculously and disturbingly awesome.

  • Cool stuff! Kenu Bodyboards

  • this is not a glider! its a headwind powered aircraft :P

  • he have many egges ha h a ha

  • 7 people crashed

  • cool!!!

  • if the wind was suddnely to drop from strong to calm wind can the approach speed be flown to prevent a sudden drop in airspeed. On approach if the wind was to suddenly stop and become calm can you fly a higher approach speed to allow for safety? I have seen one video which shows a ultralight crash on landing due to immediate wind stopping blowing.

  • it sure takes ballz to walk off the cliff!

  • I didn't realize that climbing into a hangglider was such an auditory experience!

  • @thetwinkleturnip the fact that he was deaf is irrelevant

  • @WalneyCol then why is it that the OP felt it was necessary to point it out?

  • @thetwinkleturnip I have no idea.

  • tis a beauty

  • looks cool brah, yeah man looks gnarly dude way cool totally

  • Can;t say much about this.

    Just "Wow..."

    :)

  • that would be scary as hell

  • at 0:57 it looks like he breaks the sound barrier lol

  • u should put a small jet engine on top

  • doesnt look like it can take much stress

  • Hey it's the "Swift"! I didn't know that these were still flying.

  • a Mitchell wing?

  • @Puronicth

No it's a Swift hang glider (original concept by Stanford university, now built from Aeriane in Belgium as "Swift Light") , here without closed fairing, but in competition he use a complete aerodynamic fairing.

Exists with 18hp 4 stroke engine for flat terrain take off...

  • how do you steer it :L

  • can u provide a link to more information regarding this type of glider? im a PG pilot/ glider enthusiast so this interests me.. cheers

  • now all that needs is a small turbine on top

  • That guy is chilling up there! Lol Nice Glider.

  • how do you get down?!?!!

  • he broke the sound barrier, sonic boom at 1:00 ..lol

  • @arshaneyt LOL!

  • this is stupid as hell, you cant even control that shit

  • pretty radical - what does the pilot normally fly? was that his first flight in this wing?

  • The counselor on a deaf community Deafornot dot c om said that "People who may be defined as clinically deaf (unable to hear spoken language) may or may not be members of the Deaf community."

  • I'ts not hangglider. There is no balance control.

  • i want to make one of these or similar to one at home. the wind sounded like AA fire and explosions lol

  • good thing its not windy..

  • bird man exists!!!

  • It's amazing but it looks really dangerous to me...

  • To infinity and beyond!

  • how the fuck can u land?!?!

  • @oxteRaptio In the same position he flies, din't you see the big wheels underneath??

  • @TheBenjinator3000

    yes yes i see

  • How do you land it?

  • quite beautiful

  • uouuuuuuuuu muito louco esse cara né,

  • Thats great!! Are you at all associated with cloud nine soaring?

  • No. Cloud nine is a local shop for hang gliders and paraglider

  • @spencerdeputy this is made in fiber glass?

  • @ applesweeter

    What d f___ is SPYCHOLOGY?

  • Dear All,

I have some questions about spychology:

    (1) Why do we love flying?

    (2) Why do we enjoy gliding comparing to flying in jet planes?

    (3) Why do we have so much desire to create new aeroplane with carbon fibre?

    (4) Why do we like to test and to experiment various materials for building aeroplanes?

THANK YOU IN ADVNCE for your creative ideas and brainstorm!!! :)

  • @applesweeter Hey ive seen this kind of comment before

But I think flying is the ultimate freedom. And I think humans will allways have less n less freedom

  • @applesweeter adrenaline

  • Yikes ... the Acme hang glider!

  • woooooww

  • I want that! =)

  • Almost like personal zero-G

  • god bless the pioneers - mad fuckers :)

  • lol people you are suicido!!!!

  • @maestrosVIP: Firstly, it's spelled "suicidal." Secondly, you should learn more about aerosports. You are more likely to die in a car crash than you are likely to be harmed in a hang glider.

  • i apologise for my bad english it's hard for me to speak 4 languages and be perfect in all!!!

and that what you are more likely to die in a car crash than in a hang glider, that's what "you say"

  • No maestrosVIP, it's what the statistics say.

  • ahhahah NO

  • Wow! It does fly! Doesn't look safe.

  • I love this design, great idea, to start on feet and land on feet or wheels.

  • Au mec mindaaaa :P :S

  • Wow! Is right!

  • Where could I buy such a thing and what's the price range for those sort of gliders?

  • in the thousands! because its composite

  • there about 20 grand

  • ...I have helped a few of these rigid wings launch; pilot had me steady a wingtip

during first few seconds of launch to

    keep wings level.

  • Landing that shit is gonna give you some serious ass rash!

  • and than just put on it chainsaw engine...

  • kewl! whats the wingspan on that?

  • looks like he was lucky to get off the hill

  • It's an aeriane (ex bright star) swift I think. I want one.

  • AMAZING

  • Point of the mountain in Utah?

  • How do you fit in in your car? It looks cool and everything but really big.

  • just not i one part. you have every wing seperated in a big box on top of your car.

  • @EBEalienbeing Put a ladder on a roofrack and then just lash it to that with a bit of padding, same as any other hang glider.

  • thats amazeing, didn't know that such a glider existed....came a long way from the old slack sail i flew many years ago.

  • I don't down it, but explain how the thing propells forward INTO the wind... Wouldn't the drag overtake the lift, hense making it go up and back?

  • it works the same way as any other glider, garvity means that it is falling but the layout causes it to 'fall' forward so air passes over the wing creating lift. If you fly in rising air, the glider will climb, in this video the air is rising up the hill, the gider is decending through the air at a slower rate than the air is rising, the net result is that the glider gains height.

  • That was cool!!:):))

  • cold you make a step by step video on how to make this gadget. please. Thank you in advance.

  • Ummmm no....you can't MAKE a hangglider. You have to buy them. If you are an XTREME diyer, even then it would cost you hundreds to make, and thousands to get it right. You can buy these as cheap as $799 for a good quality beginner hangglider. And then, you NEED professional training if you don't want to fall to your death. I've been hang gliding for 3 years...I know what I'm talking about.

  • Where is a good place in the internet to look at beginner hang gliders. I'm going to take some courses this summer so saving up some money now wouldn't hurt.

  • Hang gliding(dot)org has to be hands down THE best place on the internet for anything and everything hang gliding!

Just click Forums, and start reading the "Q&A learning to hang glide" section! as per beginner hang gliders, WillsWing(dot)com is the best and most astounding company, they have been known for making quality hanggliders since 1995-6 (don't remember right now :P). possibly the sport 2 would be best for a beginner, but remember to read the forums at hanggliding (dot) org!

    Good luck!

  • awesome!!! is it fun??

can you link me a sight where i can get training and a hang glider???

  • To get training, you really would have to look in google, as that would be your best bet....To buy a hangglider, for a beginner, I prefer used, and have your instructor check it for any structural damage...A used WillsWing is best!

    And fun? VERY!

  • what are you talking about i have made a hang glider and it works...its easy to make if u know what to do and have the right materials

  • they should use this for military or something

  • CAN IT BE WINCH LAUNCHED

  • yes

  • you can get 1 for 50,000.00 in usa money ouch

to lern to fly 1 of these take sailpline lossen

  • Where can I get one of these?

  • This thing is so cool, I fly trikes. Where can I get one of these?

  • If you like this look up swift foot launch hang glider....this is a very early version. A guy in Texas just did a 770 Km straight line cross country unpowered...pretty impressive. The only training school i have found is in belgium...anything in the USA?

  • OMG that was cool

  • is it stable in pitch, would a small tailwing help ?

  • wow...yea!..that takeoff looked sooooooooo sketchy..almost dragged a tip...and squirrelly. it looks like a very fast ship! anymore footage??

  • nothing worth posting, just a few more seconds of him flying back and forth. Missed the landing
