Did any of the hundreds of thousands of people who were within a few hundred yards of the WTC hear a series of explosions seconds before the towers fell? No....

yes they did! there are lots of people talking about a series of explosions. officials explain this as one floor crashing onto the next (which might be possible i guess).

Yes there were thousands of investigations pending, and the confidential nature of information prevented copy onto disk. The paper files were all obliterated, some SEC, IRS, FBI etc
