men, I bougth an Xbox 360 and I got the 3 red ligths... what I did? fix the xbox and sold it... I bougth a PlayStation 3 and I love it, its a really better experience and it has a lot of good games... 90 % of Xbox 360 consoles are fucked up. 25 % of playstation 3 consoles are fucked up!...

Ja recebi produtos de péssima qualidade do Submarino... mas o shoptime consegue ser pior... MEUS PÊSAMES... na proxima procure uma loja virtual que também possua loja fisica, de preferencia loja de varejo... estes estão melhores acostumados a lidar com clientes FACE a FACE e pelo menos sinto um maior respeito... espero que tenha conseguido reembolso!

Yeah arbitor44, I believe it might eventually come down to luck about the robustness of the consoles.

I have 2 other friends who didn't have any problems, and my new PS3 hasn't failed me either.

Then again, I have a friend who has a 360 which hasn't failed either. And there's this guy who has had 11 XBoxes already. So I think it eventually comes down to luck in some sort

Well.. even though I had this issue, my new PS3 hasnt had any problems. And the PS3 has, indeed, not had as many problemas as the 360's red ring of death. Even though the 360 has 1 year of manufacturing ahead..

I already don't have the problem on the PS3 ;)

Although, I think the CD tray on the XBox should be more robust than the feeder found on the PS3 and Wii.

Besides, the XBox is definitely quite a worthy buy with hits like Gears of Wars. It's definitely next on my wishlist.

But.. people have had other kinds of problems with it too (and they are having to pay both for the transport AND the packaging to get it fixed), so it's not a perfect world for any of us ;)

no it fails, more 360s died then fucked up PS3s or Wiis but sense 360 been out over a year, theres more units but that means more units have died and even after a year theres still 360s that are dying

Since I live in brazil, I had my PS3 imported, and the seller/middleman was responsible for trading me it for a new one. I'm not sure how did they handle things with sony afterwards, but I didn't have to pay for anything. I tried to get in touch with sony through the phone/email written in the top of the box, but they said they wouldnt provide any support outside of the US

It's an awesome video game though.

Now that I have a working one, I've been having alot of fun with it. Though I think that the quality of the consoles should be less than ideal/necessary for sony to start selling them... maybe it'll get more robust as we get further from the launch date.
