I just find it funny that people from Indonesia worships the ground he walks on just for the simple fact that he used to live in Indonesia when he was a child... without knowing anything whatsoever about his foreign policies. I just find it funny that people from Indonesia worships the ground he walks on just for the simple fact that he used to live in Indonesia when he was a child... without knowing anything whatsoever about his foreign policies. Heck, Indonesia wasn't even mentioned in his foreign policies. There are Russia, Europe, Iraq, Iran, Israel, Latin America and the Caribbean, and China on the list but Indonesia's not there.

Many countries in the world do not have a stong foreign presence despite their demographic or economical situation. Same for Latin America, though it might changing. Indonesia is part of the G-20 whose importance has grown to 2 summits a year. Indonesians could probably tell more about their government's general foreign policy. But I don't see why should US Presidents do politics according to their personal life. What do you think?
