I have this pedal and it is amazing. Built very well (Dropped it off my 412 and no scratches or dents), and sounds amazing. I have the tape sim up a bit so the tone has a tiny warble to it and creates a nice chorus effect. Then maxing the level and feedback, and playing with the delay time, you get crazy weird sounds. Specially when playing with high gain. I can do a video if you guys would want to see/hear it.
ugh my brother is high and he was listening to this and, im telling you, ive not seen someone concentrate that hard since the highschool graduation test
both of my songs on my profile were recorded live in a studio, using a jim deacon flying v, a behringer to100 and a guyatone practice amp which is older then me lol
but it held up so well, and its such a great amp
if u want to hear the tone it will be on both of my videos
I can imagine if it sounds that wide open now, adding gain would make it sounds like a tube overloaded cheap digital pedal. Mind you, there are good digital pedals.
the retro-sonic delay is best in my opinion.. but this guya is a very interesting delay.. i dont like memory lane or even maxon which everyone raves about.. the retro-sonic hits the spot. in many ways clever controls, design and of course sound.. also theres a fully wet/dry output option which make it great for studio's seeking an analoge delay or even have a separate amp for your delay!!
well - gotta say that the sound is beautifully warm - real organic tube sound. This adds so much its almost worth purchase just it for the harmonic distortion added to signal. Nice tricks too - must try out the website
This pedal is a disappointment, go to it's website and listen to the audio samples and it will have you wondering why you liked the pedal in the first place.
Yeah, those sound clips are ass, but have you ever played one? Judging the entire pedal on the site's shitty clips is a bad idea. I played one at my local L&M and it's great. Very versatile and great tone. The only reason I didn't buy it then and there is because of the outrageous price they were asking.
Unfortunately, I haven't played the DMM, but I don't think I would buy it solely on the only 550 ms of time. I'm not sure about the tone, but a long delay time during solos is something I really want. I would have played a DMM by now if Long and Mcquade had one in stock.

I'd really like to hear some more of this pedal, as I'm considering getting one. So i for one would be really appreciative of a good demo. Cheers

@JerrickCrites I know this is a comment that comes 10 months later, but if you still have it, I would love to see another demo of it.

can you get the "singing" / play on play effect with another analog stop box?
i know dd20 and dl4 can do it but what about like modtone, mxr cc, ad-9?
basically something cheaper....

I agree. I am truly sorry about my incorrect usage of grammar.

pshaw think nothing of it, all is forgiven (BTW hendrix was awesome)

I also agree upon this statement. Without his style of playing, Steven Malkmus would never be as awesome as he is today.

Ok, you are right about the sound clips, but even though the guyatone has more delay time, would you consider it better than the Deluxe Memory Man?
TheNextTremonti777 4 years ago

nocomment543 4 years ago
Yeah well, it all depends on exactly what you want and if you want 1 second delays or more well then the DMM is not for you.
TheNextTremonti777 4 years ago
The tube in there is just a waste of space. It would sound exactly the same without it.
afodis 4 years ago
And you know this from...? By...?
Oh, sorry. You must surely be the inventor himself, trashing his own pedal.
bloodySunday77 4 years ago
Uh, no...your virgin ears must not be able to distinguish the tube sound...learn a thing or two about guitars and effects...then return.
