The chemical that interfears with the endocrine is Biphenol A it mimics the bodys hormones and cause's a number of problems in the body. Type 2 diabetes , Breast cancer , Prostate cancer . The list goes on.
you need to either take in more iodine or see an endocrinologist who will prescribe you the correct thyroid hormones that will help your thyroid increase your metabolism. you definitely should not take growth hormones or testosterone if what you have is an underactive thyroid.

The posterior pituitary does not make Oxytocin. It is made in the hypothalamus and released from the posterior pituitary.
