  • I've been training alot of weightlifting over the last year to help support my rugby, But now you've inspired me to start bodybuilding for real! This is a cool exercise, I usually did 40x2 usual pushup reps every night, But let me tell you that this gave me a sore feeling the day after :p

    Most bodybuilders shave their heads so their head APPEARS very small compared to the rest of their body.

  • How about just getting a weighted vest?

  • A weighted vest is fine if you have one but my whole idea here is use what you have around the house without spending money. A weighted vest with 70lbs of lead would be pretty expensive.

  • I picked up my weighted vest from Walmart. I think it's only 40lbs which I guess is a good start. It wasn't expensive at all probably about the same price as the special kind of backpack you mention if not less. I'm not knocking what you're saying at all. I was looking for your opinion on weighted vests.If maybe you feel the weight is more evenly distributed and less of a hassle.

    by the way im 15 i weigh 164 9.7 percent body fat i can bench a max of 225. with benching i havent noticed any chest mucle building. your push up guide on the other hand= amazing results. i use to have huge calfs but theyve gone down alot can you message me some ideas or teqniques for calf and ab workouts?? thank you in advance i hope to hear back from you

  • 50 pushups is a bit hard with 50 pounds on your back. Doing them fast has nothing to do with anything, either.

  • Yes, you can use dumbbells as pushup stands!!! The octagonal ones are the best because they dont roll. You can use round ones but it recruits a whole new set of muscles to stabilize the dumbbells and keep them from rolling.

  • Awesome vid Scooby! I gave it a try while the video was running and I can feel it is working! About the same feeling as when I am at the gym, but at home. One thing I did notice is the backpack somewhat limits my movement a bit, but it is also extra resistance so it is okay, nothing harmful or with pain. Thanks Scooby for the tips and motivation!

  • I am 16(17 in a month) and i have been training now for around 8 months, though unfort. i am one of those people who have to work hard to put any muscle/weight on. I do the usual chest exercises,bench,flys,crossover­s. Though i very rarely do push ups.

    Would you recommend to do push ups every night and if so what type of push ups are the best?

  • It really depends on what you do and how you do it. It took me about 2 years. And you shouldnt confuse muscle with being so skinny you can see your abs.

  • Awesome video as always scooby! Just a quick question really. I'm 18, I've been doing martial arts for co-ordination and fitness for about 6 years and I'm pretty lean as a result. I've done a bit of weight training too in a kind of haphazard way. I'm pretty skinny though, I weigh 146 and I'm 5'11". Is it a good idea to start working out seriously now or should I leave it a bit?
