The Beastie Boys did the same old school style tribute with their To The 5 Boroughs album. Darryl McDaniels "D" of Run DMC said "Rap and Rock" are the same thing. I agree with him 110%, I just can't expound on it except by saying that Rap and Rock are a rebel form of music. You can say its old school but take a look at the how the crowd gives props to it. PE thrashes any Rap Group in live performance and that's what counts. You can't say the same for the Soulja Boy type rappers of today.
