I was concerned watching this, have you considered that mia's bio parents are most likely buddhist since only about 4% of china is christian? You say mia doesn't want to discuss anything asian is that because your beliefs are so strong she hasn't been exposed to other options? I am against cross cultural adoption, it's almost taking advantage of people who are so poor they have no other option. At least show some respect for mia's bio family and teach her about the other religions of china.

This is a real Miracle. My friend is the mom of the other Mia twin and it is amazing how God is in the business of creating miracles everyday.

@ColaCoke43 :) The Mia's will be celebrating their 7th birthday (hopefully together) this June. They talk on the phone constantly now that they have each other's phone numbers memorized and can dial them themselves. LOL Also, we're hoping to get them together on Skype.

I hope the adoptive families continue to share Mia's cultural ancestry and heritage with her as she grows!

No. We are leaving that up to Mia. We follow her lead. To date, she doesn't want to discuss or learn anything Asian. And that's fine with us. She distances herself from the Chinese culture to keep out the pain of rejection and abandonment. But she rejoices in knowing that there is Someone named Jesus who brought her twin back in her life. :) We are all lost, until we are found. :)
